The Moral Compass Of President Barack Obama

The scriptures tell us, “that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

With the non-stop incoming calls, e-mails and personal visits since the inauguration of the 44th
president of the United States, I am more than impressed to give a quick overview and some
directives to all “them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart” (2 Tim. 2:22).

There are far too many “Christians” who are now laying back with a sense of relief, now that Mr. Barack Obama has taken office. The statement made to me by many is, “He is now our president and we must pray for him.” Others ask, “How and what should we pray for concerning him?” While even others are running for cover. As our opening text directs, we should pray for his salvation and that he will come to the knowledge of the truth.

The Moral Compass of President Barack Obama

Some Christians (those who voted for him) might suggest that he is already born again and has come to the knowledge of truth. This writer objects on the grounds of his (Obama’s) words and actions. Jesus said, “…for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh…For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:34b-37).
Solomon said, “Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be
right” (Proverbs 20:11).

The infamous words of Barack Obama, at the famous Saddleback Church (full of believers?), as he answered the most familiar question asked (when does life begin?) of any formidable candidate (lawyer, author, legislator, church member) seeking the office of president were these:
“…to answer theologically or scientifically with any specificity is above my pay grade.” Go to the

Once in office, the first of his doings from day one was to restate his support for the LGBT (Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered) Community. You can visit, http://www.whitehouse.gov/agenda/civil_rights/

His words and actions direct our prayers for his salvation and proper knowledge of God, Christ, the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures.

So, what is the President’s Moral Compass by which he interprets salvation, law, the constitution, and et cetera? His Compass stems from a mixture of Black Liberation Theology (James H. Cone),
Philosophical & Ethical Elitism (Harvard Law School) and the Physiological influences of a DNA
from Nimrod, the Cushite (Genesis 10:8-10). Black Liberation Theology

Black Liberation Theology (BLT) removes salvation out of the Cross of Christ and puts the crucifixion of Christ on the level of a modern day lynching. Jesus said, “…I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay
it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father” (John 10:17b18).

Therefore, Black Liberation Theology is left to fend for itself by imposing upon its black-power theologians to tell the story in a sympathetic (dual lynching) way, rather than in an empathetic (crucified with Him) way. The difference between the two is not only the great chasm between heaven and hell for the sinner, but also for the believer. The believer must choose whether he will live unto himself and see everything from the tinted spectacles of race, class and culture, or be able to say as Paul, “But may it never be that I should boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world” (Galatians 6:14 New American Standard Bible). The apex of BLT can only energize the flesh, thus enabling it to take on a form of godliness while denying the power of divinity (2 Timothy 3:5).

Philosophical & Ethical Elitism

The Harvard-Unitarian elite takeover of 1805 made the university the citadel of religious and moral liberalism (Samuel L. Blumenfeld, NEA, Trojan horse in American education). It produced persons such as Horace Mann, a talented lawyer legislator, who along with many others would provide the philosophical and ethical incubator for people like the impressionable young Barack Obama. Liberalism leads to relativism to socialism to dictatorship. Listen to the now president Obama’s take on the US Constitution as noted in his book “The Audacity of Hope”. “No law is ever final” “Partly it’s the nature of the law itself” “For in the end laws are just (crucified with Him) way. Listen to the now president Obama’s take on the US Constitution as noted in his book “The Audacity of Hope”. “No law is ever final” “Partly it’s the nature of the law itself” “For in the end laws are just “words on a page “words whose meanings are subject to erosion, sometimes collapsing in the blink of an eye” (Pgs. 76,77). So much for the constitution!

Listen to his ethics on parenting, pregnancy and moral responsibility. In a television interview, he was asked what his response would be if one of his daughters were to get pregnant out of wedlock. He answered, (paraphrased) “my daughter should not have to suffer the ask of raising a child under such circumstances. She should have the right to an abortion.”

To this I say the following: The liberal lawyer wanted to be (and now is) the president of the United States of America, but would refuse to assume the responsibility of failed fatherhood, with no desire to be a grandfather at such an early age. The mentality of elitism has the “audacity” to think this way and expect others to accept it. Sadly, too many church goers have endorsed it and the judgment seat of Christ is going to be a horrifying experience for many of the redeemed!
The DNA from Nimrod the Cushite

A great teacher once said, “There are racial memories which obtrude themselves into our consciousness whereby a person may be distinctly conscious of a form of life he never lived, it may be a form of life centuries past. The explanation of this does not lie in the fact that that particular individual lived centuries ago, but that his progenitors did, and there are traces in his nerve substance which by one of the incalculable tricks of individual experience may suddenly emerge into consciousness” (pages 85, 86 Biblical Psychology by Oswald Chambers )

In the context of a person’s moral compass, decisions are made not just from the influences of the immediate, but if he lives, walks and works according to the flesh; he takes on the incalculable tricks hidden in his nerve substance. And in the case of President Barack Obama the Cushite, he was the first king of Babylon (confusion). With being celebrated as the first African American (Black) to become president, the question remains, “Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil” (Jeremiah 13:23).

Conclusion

If we consider the three components which make up the moral compass of president Obama, there is much to pray about. First, that he will discover the true meaning of the cross of Christ for the redemption of his spirit. Then, that he will come to know that there is knowledge higher than college, for the renewing of his mind and transformation of his soul. And finally, he will come to know, that in Christ there is neither Black nor White, elitism or defeatism, and that the Scriptures have a lot to say about government and those in authority.
